Translator Scammers

Translator Scammers

We are very sorry but due to an ever increasing amount of translator scammers we are no longer accepting any email applications from freelance translators who do not submit full and satisfactory proof of their identity. These scammers are not helping the translation industry and are wasting our time.

This means we shall be taking steps to identify translators and checking they are who they say they are. This will mean obtaining the following information from any prospective translator.

  • Your name
  • Your photograph on an official document that confirms your identity
  • Your residential address
  • Your date of birth
  • Proof of your qualifications

Ideally you will provide us with a government issued document like a passport, driving licence or ID card along with utility bills, bank statements and other official documentation.

We are taking these measures to help protect the honest, hardworking professional translators. We hope you understand and agree with us.
